You Will Need:
Epazote, 2 Tbsp, chopped
Culantro, 3 Tbsp, chopped
Thyme, 2 Tbsp, chopped
Jalapeno Pepper, 1 each, seeds removed
Brown Sugar, ½ cup
Orange Juice, ¾ cup
Garlic, 8 cloves, minced
Salt and Pepper, ¼ cup each
Green Onions, ½ cup, chopped
Recipe Serves: 8
1.In a food processor combine the herbs, sugar, garlic, and jalapeno and pulse until it forms a paste.
2.Add in salt, pepper, and sugar and blend. Slowly stream in the orange juice until all is incorporated and the rub is the consistency of a thick paste
3.Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator until ready to use as a rub for grilled steaks
