Smokey Baby Back Ribs

You Will Need:

  • Rosemary, 2 Tbsp, chopped
  • Thyme, 2 Tbsp, chopped
  • Brown Sugar, ½ cup + 2 Tbsp
  • Tomato Paste, ¼ cup
  • Worcestershire Sauce, ½ Tbsp
  • Salt, 1 Tbsp
  • Pepper, ½ Tbsp
  • Ground Cumin, ½ Tbsp
  • Ketchup, ½ cup
  • Apple Cider Vinegar, 2 Tbsp
  • Dijon Mustard, 1 Tbsp
  • Water, 1 cup
  • Baby Back Ribs, 2 racks, trimmed of fat

Recipe Serves: 4
Instructions:
1. In a small sauce pot whisk together herbs, ½ cup brown sugar, tomato paste, ketchup, vinegar, mustard, and water. Bring mixture to a boil over medium heat. Reduce heat to lo and simmer for 10-12 minutes or until thickened. Cool
2. Prepare ribs by rubbing with salt, pepper, cumin, and remaining 2 Tbsp brown sugar.
3. Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Place ribs in a roasting pan and cook for 2 hours in the oven, basting with BBQ sauce every 30 minutes
4. Remove ribs from the oven and cover. Preheat grill or indoor grill pan over high heat.
5. Brush ribs with remaining BBQ sauce and grill over high heat 8 minutes on each side until dark and crispy
